Officials from the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Divisions at the University of Samarra participate in a ministerial workshop
Officials from the Quality Assurance and Performance Evaluation Divisions, as well as the Institutional Performance Evaluation Units at the colleges of the University of Samarra, played a pivotal role in a training workshop on the performance evaluation mechanism according to the updated forms for the academic year 2023-2024. The workshop was organized by the Department of Supervision and Scientific Evaluation, and the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department at the University of Baghdad, and held in the Al-Hakim Hall at the University of Baghdad from September 22 to 26, 2024.
The workshop was designed with a crucial objective in mind-to explain the rules and instructions of the updated performance evaluation forms issued by the Ministry of Higher Education. It also sought to familiarize the quality assurance officials with the new mechanism for evaluating the performance of faculty members and staff at Iraqi universities for the academic year 2023-2024.
In a related context, the workshop trainers explained that the new form focuses on allocating higher scores for scientific research submitted by faculty members and modifying the point allocation mechanism to benefit the educational and administrative processes for staff in both public and private Iraqi universities.
