Samarra University Launches Awareness Campaign on the Iraqi National Security Strategy 2025-2030

The Rectorship of Samarra University has launched an awareness campaign on the guide for the “Iraqi National Security Strategy (Iraq First) 2025-2030,” which was initiated by the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister directed that it should include all segments of Iraqi society by distributing it across the formations of Iraqi ministries.
Stemming from a sense of responsibility, the Departments of Studies and Planning, and Media and Government Communication at the Rectorship of Samarra University worked to print and distribute booklets containing the strategy’s axes, with the aim of introducing the university community to the strategy, its divisions, and its objectives.
The booklet included a definition of the five-year national strategy extending from 2025 to 2030 according to the scheduled divisions and the defined goals based on opportunities and challenges, in addition to the essential requirements for achieving those goals in line with the strategy.
In turn, the Rectorship of Samarra University expressed his admiration for the campaign and its organization, particularly the publications, which represent the implementation of ministerial directives and the instructions of the National Security Advisory affiliated with the Council of Ministers, the Office of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs.
It is worth noting that the campaign was conducted under the follow-up of the Vice Rectors for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and their supervision of the content of the publications and the organization of the campaign, which included all university staff, to consolidate the university’s role in promoting the principles of national security and the five-year strategic plan.
