Seminar at the College of Agriculture Discusses the Role of Modern Parenting Methods in Family Building

The College of Agriculture at the University of Samarra organized an awareness seminar on “Modern Parenting Methods and Their Role in Building the Family.” The seminar was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Toulin Khalid Ibrahim, a faculty member in the Department of Field Crops at the college.

In her seminar, Khalid aimed to clarify the concept of modern parenting as an educational and informative process that seeks to develop children’s skills and prepare them properly for life.

The seminar addressed the importance of adopting modern parenting methods and their role in family building and strengthening relationships among family members—especially in fostering children’s skills such as critical thinking and effective communication, as well as enhancing interpersonal connections.

The lecturer also highlighted the significance of modern parenting techniques in promoting cooperation and understanding among family members, in addition to developing children’s personalities and boosting their self-confidence.

In the same context, the lecturer emphasized the need to adhere to modern parenting approaches, particularly as they contribute to family development and stability. They also help children enhance and acquire new skills, reinforce the family’s role in building social relationships, and strengthen familial bonds and their impact on children.
