Seminar on Management and Economics Discusses the Importance of Education for Rural Women
The College of Management and Economics at the University of Samarra organized an educational seminar titled “The Importance of Education for Rural Women,” presented by Ms. Noor Najah Mahdi, on Tuesday, February 11th.
In her lecture, the speaker aimed to highlight the significance of educating women and its impact on both society and the family, emphasizing their role in nurturing children and assisting them in building their futures.
The seminar discussed the necessity of involving rural women in the field of education to promote literacy eradication in rural areas and achieve intellectual and social balance between rural and urban regions, especially among women.
The lecturer recommended providing specialized educational programs that consider the requirements and learning needs of rural women, as well as activating the roles of governmental and non-governmental institutions in encouraging rural women to engage in education.
It is noteworthy that this seminar was organized by the Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Management and Economics, as part of a series of awareness programs adopted by the University of Samarra in service to the community.
