The Computation Center Organizes Workshop on the Digital Repository Mechanism for the New Academic Platform
Computation Center at the University of Samarra organized a specialized workshop for website operators and library officials across university departments titled “How to Publish in the Digital Repository within the New Academic Platform.”
The session took place on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at the Computation Center hall and was presented by Assist. Lect. Raqeeb Mahmoud Hassan.
Raqeeb outlined the publishing procedures, the approved regulations, and the content review mechanism prior to its official approval and publication, while emphasizing the importance of adhering to quality standards and protecting intellectual property rights.
The lecturer defined the mechanism for using the digital repository, outlining the steps for data entry and uploading academic output. This included scientific research, university theses and dissertations, as well as the scholarly work of the university’s faculty members.
The digital repository represents a significant step in documenting the scientific output of the University of Samarra. It contributes to enhancing the university’s academic presence at both local and international levels, while continuing to provide technical and instructional support to faculty members and students, in an effort to promote digital transformation and support scientific research.
