The University of Samarra hosts the Director of Media Initiatives at Al Jazeera Media Institute

The University of Samarra will host Palestinian journalist Muntasir Mar’i (Director of Media Initiatives at Al Jazeera Media Institute) and journalist Raghda Jamal (Coordinator of the Al Jazeera Ambassadors Initiative) in an applied scientific symposium titled “The Value of Journalism in the Digital Age.” The event is organized by the Media Departments of the College of Arts, the Department of Media and Government Communication at the university presidency, and the Media and Government Communication Division at the College of Education. The goal is to enhance students’ knowledge and to open avenues for collaboration with reputable media institutions.
Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Mouloud Fadel (Head of the Media Department) will be a panelist at the symposium, which will be held on Monday, the 11th of this month, at 10:30 AM in the Al-Mu’tasim Hall. The sessions will be moderated by Professor Dr. Ahmed Hussein Ali (Professor of Voice and Diction) in the department.
