The University of Samarra raises community awareness on the use of clean energy
The Department of Media and Government Communication at the Presidency of the University of Samarra organized an awareness campaign, in collaboration with the Samarra Division for Petroleum Products, on the use of clean energy.
The campaign organizers aimed to educate the community on the use of alternative energy and environmental conservation, contributing to reducing the consumption of fuel used in energy production.
The campaign involved distributing brochures within and outside the university campus, which included the concept of clean energy, its objectives, methods of use, and its main sources.
Brochures were also distributed to drivers at the Samarra Petroleum Products Distribution Station and to employees of the distribution division participating in the campaign.
It is noteworthy that the campaign coincided with the International Clean Energy Day, which is observed on January 26th each year.
