Two lecturers from the University of Samarra participate in the Salah al-Din Creative Youth Festival
Assistant lecturers Bassam Abdul Hakim Wahib and Mohammed Hassan Saleh from the College of Education at the University of Samarra took part in the inaugural “Salah al-Din Creative Youth Festival” as poets representing the city of Samarra and their university.
The festival was organized by the Union of Writers and Authors in Salah al-Din in the city of Tikrit, under the patronage of the Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Antiquities, Dr. Ahmed Fakkak al-Badrani.
The lecturers presented poems describing life, along with personal and philosophical reflections, alongside other poets from various Iraqi provinces.
Critics and poets praised the poems, commending the participation of the city of Samarra and its university in enriching the Iraqi cultural scene.
