The President of the University of Samarra welcomes the historian Prof. Dr. Farouk Saleh Al-Omar
Prof. Dr. Sabah Allawi Al-Samarrai, President of Samarra University, welcomed in his office the presence of the Iraqi historian, Prof. Dr. Farouk Saleh Al-Omar, one of the significant figures of history in Iraq, and some professors from other Iraqi universities.
Allawi welcomed the great historian; Who gave a qualitative scientific lecture to graduate students at the College of Education at the University of Samarra, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Zuhair Qasim Muhammad – Vice President of Samarra University for Administrative Affairs – and some professors of the department and those interested in the deep Iraqi heritage.
The two sides exchanged the importance of Iraqi history in its various stages, the location of Samarra from this history, and its position among the Iraqi provinces. They stressed the need to exchange historical cultures between the universities of the same country and to attract essential competencies and selves in such lectures that have great value, impact, and impression in students’ minds and future visions.
