Assoc. Prof. Dr. (Marwan Qahtan Jassim), a faculty member at the College of Applied Sciences at the University of Samarra, published a scientific research paper in the journal (Assiut University Pharmaceutical Sciences), which is classified within the fourth quartile (Q4) of the Scopus database, titled:
\”Single-cell analysis of intercellular signaling pathways as a strategy for targeted immunotherapy in Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia.\”

In his research, Marwan aimed to gain an in-depth understanding of the complex intercellular signals and pathway disturbances in \”Chronic Myelomonocytic Leukemia (CMML)\” to develop new therapeutic strategies targeting the immune system.

The study\’s results showed a downregulation of pathways associated with the immune system, such as interleukins, cytokine signaling, and the CSF3 receptor pathway between neutrophils and progenitor cells, leading to the emergence of weak immune cells and an immunodeficient environment.

For its part, the Department of Media and Government Communication congratulates Assoc. Prof. Dr. (Marwan Qahtan Jassim) on his new scientific achievement, wishing him continued success in his academic and research career.
