Central Post Office Employees Organize Anti-Drug Campaign

The employees of the Central Post Division at the Presidency of the University of Samarra organized an awareness campaign targeting university students and staff, in implementation of the recommendations of the Council of Ministers to combat drugs.

The campaign included distributing awareness brochures highlighting the dangers of drug use and trafficking, aiming to educate society about the risks associated with drug abuse and trade.

The brochures outlined the legal penalties for drug users and traffickers, as well as the psychological harms caused by addiction, including depression, anxiety, antisocial personality disorder, bone pain, mood disorders, and the vulnerability of the immune system to viral diseases.

In turn, the campaign organizers emphasized the importance of all efforts related to combating drugs, recommending appropriate methods for treating addicts and steering them away from this scourge.
