Samarra University President Announces Launch of Graduate Studies in Business Administration

The President of Samarra University, Professor Dr. Sabah Alawi Al-Samarrai, announced on the evening of Tuesday, March 18 (corresponding to Ramadan 18, 2025), the establishment of a graduate studies program in the Department of Business Administration.

Students will begin applying for the graduate program in the 2025–2026 academic year, specializing in Business Administration.

The department will exclusively accept applicants who hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. The admission plan includes six seats funded by the government and six seats on a self-financed basis.

Obtaining a Master’s degree from this department will qualify graduates to work in fields such as entrepreneurship, project management, risk management, marketing management, supply chain management, and human resources management.

It is worth noting that this new program was established after a series of dedicated efforts by the university president, who closely followed all necessary procedures and obtained official approvals from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The college administration also played a crucial role in providing the necessary requirements for the program’s launch.

The President of Samarra University congratulates the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, as well as its faculty and staff, on this academic advancement, which aligns the college with its peers in the fields of graduate studies and scientific research.
