The College of Education at Samarra University Clarifies Laboratory Quality Management in a Scientific Seminar
The College of Education at Samarra University held a scientific seminar titled “Quality Management in Laboratories,” presented by Assistant Lecturer Jasim Ahmed Hassan, Assistant Lecturer Aisha Ahmed Al-Taif, and Mrs. Nusrat Hardan Arheel.
The speakers aimed to clarify the implementation of global standards for quality in educational laboratories, introducing participants to the importance of general and regulatory requirements of these standards. They also discussed technical, safety, and security requirements, as well as the quality requirements for educational laboratories and workshops.
The speakers emphasized the need for continuous staff training in laboratory management, conducting regular evaluations to promote a culture of quality, involving all laboratory staff in applying and improving quality standards, and utilizing modern technology in laboratories.
It is worth noting that such seminars are part of the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which encourages attention to educational laboratory quality to ensure academic integrity and to enhance the skills and expertise of laboratory staff.
