The College of Engineering organizes a field visit for its students to the work site of Al-Fao Engineering Company

The College of Engineering at the University of Samarra organized a field visit for its students, accompanied by some faculty members from the Civil Engineering Department, to the work site of Al-Fao Engineering Company, which is paving some of the city’s streets.

The organizers aimed to practically illustrate the challenges facing infrastructure projects by providing detailed theoretical explanations about the project the company is working on.

In turn, the college’s faculty members delivered a lecture to the students at the visit site, aiming to broaden the students’ horizons, enhance their scientific knowledge in their specialization, connect them with the labor market, and directly acquaint them with the methods and techniques used in implementing engineering projects.

It is noteworthy that this visit comes as part of a series of field visits adopted by the College of Engineering to immerse its students in the field, reinforce their theoretical studies with practical application, and fieldwork.
