The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Samarra organized a morning activity for undergraduate students titled “Boundaries of Interaction for Female Students,” presented by Dr. Mayada Hamoud Ahmed and Assistant Lecturer Aseel Saad Fadel.

The organizers aimed to raise students’ awareness within the university environment, emphasizing the importance of adhering to academic regulations and the Student Discipline Law, as well as achieving balance within the university community.

Dr. Hamoud highlighted the benefits of learning, communication, and preparation for practical life, addressing the social and cultural challenges students may face during their academic journey, especially female students in physical education, given the differing boundaries of interaction in colleges of physical education and sports sciences compared to other universities.

Interaction boundaries among university students are based on the religious, cultural, and social values of each society. Additionally, there are general guidelines necessary to ensure a respectful and balanced educational environment between genders.

Ms. Saad emphasized the importance of adhering to guidelines, including mutual respect in interactions without offense or mockery, avoiding inappropriate jokes or conversations that may be embarrassing or unsuitable.

Both lecturers recommended respecting the dress code imposed by the university and society, adhering to modesty standards appropriate for the university environment, and avoiding attention-grabbing attire that may cause distraction or draw inappropriate attention.

It is noteworthy that the university, through its various formations, strives with its diverse activities to enhance community awareness, maintain the university environment, and promote balanced interactions and behavior within the campus.
