Title: Promoting Social Solidarity: A Community Iftar for University Dormitory Students
The University of Samarra hosted an initiative by the General Secretariat of the Al-Askari Holy Shrine in Samarra, which involved organizing a communal Iftar meal for dormitory students in collaboration with the university.
The initiative aimed to strengthen the values of social solidarity within the fabric of Iraqi society, especially during the blessed month.
More than 600 complete Iftar meals were distributed to male and female students residing in university dormitories. The event was preceded by a Quranic gathering in remembrance of Iraq’s martyrs.
The Director of Dormitory Affairs at the university’s administration expressed appreciation for the contributions of the Al-Askari Shrine in fostering cooperation between state institutions and supporting students.
