To Achieve Global Quality Standards Requirements… Vice Rector Meets with Quality Management System and ISO Audit Committee


Assistant Professor Dr. (Ziyad Tariq Ibrahim), Vice Rector for the Administrative Affairs , chaired an expanded meeting in his office. The meeting included the directors of the Quality Assurance and University Performance Department, the Reconstruction and Projects Department, the Administrative Affairs (Diwan) Department, and some heads of divisions in the university presidency.
The meeting aimed to audit the Quality Management System and ISO (ISO 45001:2018 – ISO 14001:2015) in the university presidency departments and to review the mechanism for its application.
The Vice Rector stressed the necessity for the Quality Management Committee to complete the tasks assigned to it within the specified deadlines, in order to contact the relevant authorities affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, for the purpose of granting the university the ISO certificate.
It is worth mentioning that the importance of the ISO certificate lies in enhancing the university’s ability to apply quality standards in the stages of service delivery and the scientific product, which contributes to elevating the university’s status and academic reputation, and works to raise its ranking locally and globally, in addition to its role in obtaining global academic accreditation.
