Two Academics at the University of Samarra Publish a Joint Research in a Scopus-Indexed Journal
Assoc. prof. Dr. (Iman Diab Abbas) and Assist. Lect. (Qaid Bakr Ali), faculty members at the College of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Samarra, have published a scientific research paper in the Assiut University Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The journal is ranked within the fourth quartile (Q4) of the Scopus database.
This research was part of the proceedings of the 2nd Samarra International Conference for Pure and Applied Sciences (2SICPS) held at the College of Applied Sciences.
The research was titled:
\”Estimation of Amlodipine Besylate and Valsartan using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) in their Pharmaceutical Form (Tablets)\”
The study aimed to develop a fast, simple, sensitive, and selective method using High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) for the estimation of Amlodipine Besylate and Valsartan in their pharmaceutical dosage forms.
The results of the study demonstrated high accuracy and excellent reproducibility for the proposed separation method for both drugs, whether estimated individually or simultaneously in their pharmaceutical preparations.
Furthermore, the method was characterized by high precision and stability.
For its part, the Department of Media and Government Communication congratulates the two academics on this new scientific achievement, wishing them continued success in their academic and research careers.
