University Psychological Counseling Official Participates in the Meeting of the Permanent National Committee for Awareness and Community Guidance

Assoc. Prof. Dr. (Adnan Talfah Mohammed), Head of the University Psychological Counseling Division at the Rectorship of Samarra University, and Assist. Lect. (Aws Samir Qader), Head of the Social Research Division in the Dormitory Departments, participated in the axes of the periodic meeting of the Permanent National Committee for Awareness and Community Guidance, which is linked to the Prime Minister’s Office, held at Wasit University.

The meeting witnessed the presence of the Rector of Wasit University, Prof. Dr. (Abbas Lafta Al-Agabi) and his assistants, alongside the Advisor to the Prime Minister, Prof. Dr. (Haider Al-Saadi), and committee members from academics in Iraqi universities.
The attendees discussed some activities and events implemented by Iraqi universities, particularly in the fields of food security, illegal migration, counter-terrorism, intellectual extremism, and the role of academic institutions and their staff in enhancing awareness toward community issues.

In a related context, committee members addressed ways to maximize state resources by supporting activities concerned with the agricultural sector and the investment of water resources, and working to create productive economic projects in cooperation with experts, academics, and specialists in the fields of water and agriculture, contributing to finding sustainable financial resources.

It is noteworthy that the meeting came within the series of periodic meetings held by the committee to discuss the activities implemented by Iraqi universities, in accordance with the directives of the Prime Minister’s Office and the recommendations of the Permanent National Committee for Awareness and Community Guidance.
