Empowering Women in E-Governance: A Seminar at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences

The College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences at the University of Samarra organized an educational seminar titled “Empowering Women’s Capabilities in E-Governance.” The seminar was presented by Assistant Lecturer Wissam Hameed Ali and Assistant Lecturer Aseel Saad Fadel.

The event aimed to highlight the importance and necessity of empowering women in e-governance, especially in light of the ongoing digital transformation.

Hameed focused on the role of women in technology, the challenges they face, and the strategies needed to enhance their participation in e-governance.

Meanwhile, Saad addressed the concept and significance of e-governance, as well as the role of women in strategies aimed at empowering them in this field.

In the same context, the speakers recommended prioritizing technical training for women, improving the digital environment to support them, and promoting female entrepreneurship in the technology sector.
