Faculty of Humanities Education welcomes a delegation from the Hope Institute for the Deaf and Dumb

The Faculty of Education for Human Sciences at Samarra University welcomed a delegation from the Deaf and Dumb Institute, with a friendly visit reflecting the spirit of cooperation and openness of the university’s Structures

with non-governmental organizations and community organizations, in addition to its cooperation with government institutions.

The Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Dr. (Abdulhamid Mzahm Shaker), welcomed the institute’s delegation, expressing his happiness with the visit and his interest in the category of people with special needs, which constitutes a segment of society that makes hope, and his support for their attendance at their events and activities and their integration with other segments of society.

Meanwhile, the Head of the History Department in the same Faculty hosted the visiting delegation, embodying the strengthening of cooperation, especially in this visit which came in response to the department’s invitation during their visit to the institute on World Deaf Day.

The visit witnessed one of the institute’s female students presenting an artistic performance in which she demonstrated her talent in drawing, amid interactions that garnered admiration from the attendees, reflecting an interest in embracing and developing creative energies.

Academically, the Head of the History Department introduced the nature of study and scientific activities in the college, in addition to direct meetings with the faculty, embodying the department’s commitment to community openness and supporting humanitarian initiatives.

In turn, the Dean emphasized the university’s and its formations’ commitment to opening its doors to community and humanitarian institutions registered with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in addition to the college’s pursuit of organizing joint activities that contribute to integrating people with special needs with students in the university environment.

From their side, the Hope Institute delegation expressed thanks and appreciation for the warm reception, in an atmosphere characterized by affection and human interaction, reflecting the depth of integration between the Faculty and other institutions.
