The College of Engineering Hosts a Scientific Products Exhibition as Part of Entrepreneurship Week Activities

The College of Engineering at the University of Samarra organized an exhibition showcasing scientific products, including designs and implementations by the college’s faculty and students, as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week activities.

The organizers aimed to highlight scientific achievements, ranging from architectural and engineering designs to graduation projects, scientific experiments, and the manufacturing of various laboratory devices. These endeavors reflect the innovative and successful ideas of the college’s students.

The exhibition featured student research projects, including the Wind Tunnel, designed and constructed by Electromechanical Engineering students. This project is considered a successful and cost-effective innovation. Additionally, the exhibition included a centrifugal device that enables students to conduct experiments on fluid machinery.

Architecture students participated with urban and architectural designs, which included a school, a museum, and a house, at various stages of design. They also presented proposals for the development of certain city neighborhoods.

Members of the ministerial committee and its chair praised the innovative projects presented by the engineering students across all departments. They regarded these projects as ideas that could benefit the private sector if properly invested in, while also serving educational and research institutions. The students utilized their innovations to support the university by employing these creations in the college’s laboratories, turning them into functional laboratory devices.

It is worth noting that the College of Engineering presented a printed panorama detailing the scientific products, along with 3D models of the most notable graduation projects from past years and faculty innovations, including large devices that were not included in the exhibition.
