Together to Reduce the Phenomenon of Smoking
In implementation of ministerial instructions and directives emphasizing the reduction of smoking within the university campus corridors, the staff of the Media and Government Communication Department at the Presidency of the University of Samarra calls upon the university’s faculty members, employees, and students to minimize smoking within the campus corridors and public places, adhering to the laws and instructions issued by the ministry.
The laws stipulate fining individuals who smoke in public places, especially on university campuses. The legal committees at the University of Samarra will impose financial penalties on those who smoke within the university corridors. These fines also apply to electronic cigarette smokers, with their devices being confiscated.
